THIS SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY
See incredible board cutting action as N scale weirdos build
BENCHWORK
     BENCHWORK
          BENCHWOOOOOOORRRRRRRRKKKKKKKK

on Sunday, the Eastern Shore operating division of the Western Maryland will host a benchwork building bonanza.  the excitement starts around 12 noon eastern, 11 central.  the goal is to build the 6 benchwork modules for the Lehigh and Hudson River (yeah, right).  there will be plenty of spinning things that cut, so come on down and help make history.

any questions, ask Lee, Superintendent of Structures and Sharp Spinning Things

Lawdy! Not sharp spinning things! I have enough trouble not slicing my fingers with an X-Acto knife.
Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Each participant is responsible for your own before and after Finger Inventory...

It is strongly advised to maintain all of your fingers in operating order, as they will be necessary for pulling the tops off of bottles.  There will be a cooler of ice nearby where errant digits may be stored until the project is complete, just don't get upset if Steve mistakes it for a cocktail wienie.  If that happens, there's enough stuff in the garage to make some fake fingers to hold you over until you make it to the prosthetics store.

Nowthen...  You boys on the supply committee, you'll need to get whatever sheets of 3/4" plywood you think you need, (The sanded B/C is probably adequate... no interior voids and fewer splinters) plus some 1-1/4 drywall screws, some 1-5/8 drywall screws, and a big bottle of yellow Elmers.

Steve, the fee for service on this project is a 20 pack of Polocks.  You can get them Saturday at the corner of Caton and Patapsco.  You will be a direct beneficiary, as the grill is located quite near the garage/workshop.  And don't forget a quart of the Works.  I'll take care of the suds.

I may be in for this crazyness. Depends on the hangover from the Bachelor party that begins tomorrow and ends sometime Sunday morning.

Nah she'll already be married to Stu, we would have stolen Tysons Tiger, stolen a cop car ("BTW you have a great rack, Ma'am"), and found a Asian gangster in our trunk, by the time we get to bring her to the benchwork session.

yes tom, it's for real.  i'm heading over to Lee's where he and Brian and maybe the S. (so far) will be ripping plywood and assembling benchwork modules for my layout.  there are 4 modules that are 5.5'x1.5' and 2 modules that are 5.5'x1'.  should go pretty smoothly.  the final benchwork assembly will take place at my hizouse sometime next week.

pictures will abound of severed digits and passed-out all night partiers
