Feather River Trains ROCKS

Most of you guys know Chuck, a.k.a. Chulvis, of Feather River Trains.

I ordered some track components and paint from him earlier this month.  Everything arrived quickly and in great shape.  Just one minor glitch, though...  I'd received a slightly different shade of brown PolyScale paint I didn't even notice until I started using it.

Not only did Chuck make good QUICKLY (hey, I already appeared to have gotten a free jar of paint from the deal), he tossed in a bonus.  An Atlas Trainman caboose.  Not just any...  Conrail!  In a road number I don't have!

So here's a hobby dealer who not only takes customer service seriously, but gets to know his customers and their modeling interest.  Sure, Chuck sees me post around here, but still...  He remembered my roadname.

Bravo, Chuck, and thanks!  I'll be sending more business your way.

Chuck is on my "approved vendor" list, which unfortunately is classified.

I prefer to give my business to my LHS here in Lincoln, but whenever there's something that they can't order for some reason or another, I get it from Chulvis for sure.  Or if it's a larger order of something, like the Bluford cars, I'll split it up between them to try to spread the wealth a bit.

He's the only dealer who gets a free ad on my website.  It's the least I can do!

You wanna rock and roll, spend 3 years on an oceangoing wooden minesweeper like I did back in the 70's.  No place for anyone with a weak stomach.

Wonder if the skipper had to change his shorts after that.  I would have....

Well, umm, bump...
I preordered some MT Rio Grande gondolas, and now that they are  apparently out, called Chuck and left a message about status; no return call. That's not like him. Googled the store, first thing that comes up is "permanently closed".... is everything alright up there??
