Mike, not exactly sure what you're referring to...I tested a random 36 car set on a friends layout and they run without a single derailment for hours. Have you even tried running them, or are you just ASSuming there is a problem?If you're converting to Micro-Trains, you will have to use their provided shim; this will lower the bolster due to their un-prototypically high coupler box (hence the reason all of their cars ride so high). That said, had we made the bolster lower (ie., to accept Micro-Trains trucks/couplers), we would have taken a ton of flack for "un-prototypical ride height", and rightly so...I'll end with......
