Here's hoping that Gregg's feeling better.  I found these two ex-Con's parked at Delmar, Delaware last night when I went to the club.

It was like shooting ducks in a barrel.  Here's an interesting detail for you chair enthusiasts...

And here's what they might have looked like in happier times...

Enjoy this beautiful day!

O.K. Lee.  Like the shot of the chair.  I'm at work now but when I get home I'll post something.  Gonna let you vote.  Do you want some CSX from St Denis last Saturday or some 70's WM, etc.  As if I didn't already know the answer.

As to my preference, I'll give you three guesses, and the first two don't count ;D

I am surprised the NS crew left the FREDs out on the fronts of the locomotives and not secured in the cab.

Oh, they're safe, Brian... they're at Lee's now where no one can get to them.  ;)

Guys, the object of the game is to post your pictures, not prattle on about mine!

As commanded by Lee.  Here are a few more shots around Hagerstown circa early 70's:

Hey Wes, what's the story with the rooflines on those? It looks like they took the hoods from SD45s or F40s and spliced them onto an FL9. Are those rebuilds, or did they ship from EMD like that?

CL13 is in close to original condition - although I've just noticed the front porthole has been replaced with a solid panel.

CLF7 and CLP13 are rebuilds.

The originals (CL) were built here in Oz by Clyde Engineering between 1970-72 - though I'm pretty sure EMD would have had quite a bit of input. I believe the CL class were the last EMD product/clone anywhere to receive the streamlined nose.

The 17 CLs were rebuilt in 1993/94 by MKA at a temporary plant in Whyalla, South Australia. Seven were straight rebuilds (CLF) while ten were regeared (?) and had HEP units installed for use on passenger trains (CLP).

16 of the 17 are still around - though 3 have recently been placed in storage.
