If you read the ad, there will be prototype as well as 'specialty' or 'themed' cars.

It just a matter of guessing the ratio.

Of course, the real question is.. does this mean passenger cars are right around the corner?  And, will they use the same flush side 89' flat?

I never liked the circus. All those animals without the appropriate sauce.

It will be interesting to see just what they will choose to model.  Waiting on the heavyweights it is possible that some of the new cars will see circus paint (NO, I don't mean Wild Mary's circus paint).  The addition of hospital ward cars would be interesting as well, if they choose to do them.

Clowns have always kind of scared me.

I saw the circus train come through town and drove right up to it and spent a few hours talking with employees who only wanted to know where the nearest bar was.

But yeah there is no way this will be prototypical.

I think every forum should have a MT "Bash before you see" sticky.

I want them , but only the pre 1960 ones that are prototypically correct for RB . That ought to save me a lot of money , but I will be happy to spend on the ones that are correct . It's all up to MTL . Sticking a blue " Goodyear " sign on a silver painted pig does not a blimp make , nor a sold item .

I know a lot of clowns.  None of them are with a circus.

I used to work across the street from the arena where the circus would set up when it came to town.  After it left there would be a two block line of P/U trucks and dumps waiting to get the animal dung for fertilizer.   It used to be that they couldn't give it away.  Now I think they sell it.

This would be a much better idea for Kato to do...

Perhaps they will be a mix of new, old and "other people's" tooling?

All of my photos were lost, but I had a few online at the time:

It was raining. Cars were coming and going back and forth to the show.
