Looks good.  Looks like you are missing some rust effects that the prototype has.

Tell us about the trucks and wheels - I like the colors.

The hopper looks rel nice, but you're getting an orange peel type effect from something in the gloss.  Are you spraying a rattle can like dullcoat in some cooler weather?

Thanks for the comments guys. Im using Dullcoat spray can for my finish. It does produce an orange peel finish but I dont mind it. I guess I could break out the airbrush for the dullcoat. The truck were first painted with Floquil engine black. Once dry I applied a 50/50 mix off Dullcoat(bottle) and mineral spirits with some ground up pastel chalks mixed in(burnt umber color). I used a brush to stipple it onto the trucks and wheels. Not having the brush too wet is the key. After that i apply various ground up pastels on the trucks and wheels and some splatter on the trucks usind PS mud.

Just curious, what are the causes of the orange peel effect?   Would another coat of the Dullcote reduce it?

Dullcoat from a rattle can. It can be avoided with a new can and careful application, but a airbrush still gives a much better finish...

Right, the can won't atomize as finely but with the can I was wondering if the peel effect was a result of holding the can too close/far, or spraying too heavy or light, or perhaps temperature, humidity, dust,  etc. ....  ?

I think the orange peel from the Dullcote is just fine.  There aren't to many sun bleached and weathered cars with a real uniform paint finish.  I really don't find it to be a problem.

Not sure but I always found it got worse the older the can was...
