The 67th anniversary of Pearl Harbor - that was a Sunday, too... I was a little over 8 months old.

So, what have you got to show for yourself this past week?

Well actually this was done 2 weeks ago , as all my others . Gives me a buffer on projects so I always have something to show I hope . Athearn mills stripped and repainted . Tighter shots on my Picasa W&LG album .

I took at Kato mike and added a spare tire following Tony Hines. After that I had to take a ConCor USRA 2-10-2 bodyshell and turn it into a N scale USRA 2-10-2. I took 3/8" out of it's length. Even the cab was too long so I swapped out a bunch of the Kato parts.

And I modified the stock USRA pilot to add foot boards, just like Erie did.

I finished my C&O autoparts decal.  There is no N scale car to use this on AFAIK.  I think I could use an Athearn 50' box with new sides and add the running board but I haven't really looked that close yet.

The other side has the "C&O for progress" logo.

Tony (Skipgear) did it first, I followed what he did here starting on pg.12:

I got the rockwork done on the rural-side access panel. Here it is still fresh from the molds (and hence darker than the cured rockwork beneath it):

Why is there no S and number on this Picasa link ?

The photo is in my Picasa odd ball album

Geez Chris , you put a pox on that shot , I can't get Picasa to let me show it . Here is a Railimages shot .

ooh, tell us about your rock coloring!

The Hydrocal is tinted with black powder dye so that it doesn't chip white. After the Hydrocal is cured, I soak the rock with water from a sprayer, then dribble on Rustall and India ink washes with a dropper. When this is dry, I'll dust it with some powdered chalks here and there for highlights.

Richie, That only partly works. The number on the cab is 3204  :-\  I wasn't going to piece that small number together about 6 years ago, but maybe now I should.
