Tom, do you care to elaborate on how you use the Sophisticated Finishes stuff?  You mentioned water in the book.

SophFin yields random results.  Sometimes, the rust looks awesome; sometimes, the rust looks too orange and uniform.  Using water on it (after the activator chemical is applied) tends to turn the orange rust more red-brown.  It that fails, washes of burnt umber do the trick.

Hey thanks!  I'll try that.  I have a few Gondola's I was attacking.  I'm going to do a Salt Mask on one now, to "redo" some of the un-weathered area's of the interior.

Mine must have taken a seat next to yours.  It hasn't arrived yet, but things usually sloooooooooooowwwwwwww way down during the Christmas season.  It'll get here sooner or later I hope.

I once had a book sent to me from 40 minutes away, it took 15 days to get here. No rhyme or reason.

I'm in CO USA, but still waiting.  It was 18 below zero (Fahrenheit) the other nite, maybe the USPS is still thawing...  :)

Mine was in the latest Chuck-pack from FRTS.  It was worth the wait.  Nice job Tom.  I had seen a lot of the info from you posted on the forums, but the book is a nice way to tie it together and have it for quick reference.

Well, I see Cody Grivno is back on the job and released a new video today. Was disappointed that Tom's book was not reviewed. Chuck, weren't you going to contact Cody about featuring it?

Speaking of that, had an opportunity to tout it on the Atlas Forum when someone asked for a recommendation of a book about weathering.  ;)
