Morning Sun has updated their website to show the next set of books.

Trackside Twin Cities is one I have been hoping they would do but I've never heard of Joe Elliot.  I mean I have, I just don't think they are the same guy.

Who would have thought that Joe Elliott of Def Leppard (one of my all time favorite 80's hair bands) fame would be into North American trains. I mean, after all, he's British!

Morning Sun Books are weel worth the money to modellers and railfans. The Trackside Georgia, Trackside Twin Cities, Trackside Eastern Ohio and the CNW Freight Equipment book all look good to me. The New York Central Thru Passenger Service looks interesting too.

I've got the Trackside with George Leilich book, and it's one of the best I've got.  Leilich was the Operations VP of the WM in it's final decades, and also a shutterbug.  There's a ton of "insider information" views of the shops, port facilities and other parts of the railroad generally not accessible by the public.

I highly recommend it.

Met him a couple times when I used to attend the Chesepeake Division RRE meetings.  It was facinating to listen to him talk about the WM.  They don't make rairoad men like him anymore.
