Sounds great, Easterners get more stuff that when to the scrap pile 30 years ago, and Westerners get the modern stuff!

Perhaps that's because anything worth modeling in the East went to the scrap pile 30 years ago or more.  :o ;) Who wants to model abandoned factories and burned out tenements??  ;D ;D ;D

I heard DC, but I am not sure that makes sense, so who really knows. I do know this is sure to spark rivet counter meltdown, because there are so many variations of these locos.

Suposedly this was told to people who asked at the DCE convention.

The other titbit was that the SD70ACE/M-2 is not being done due to licensing issues.

I recall that T55 was announced as offering this model really early on - and my impression at the time was that there was an "exclusive" given to them. What I forget is - was the exclusive between EMD or UP (on the heritage schemes). You have to figure that if you can't do those heritage schemes, some would not even bother to do the project.

This was openly discussed at Trainorders and other places. Obviously there is no exclusive now - so who knows where this is going.
