Question on #40.  One photo shows red WM on front, the other done in Yellow.  Were both correct for a specific time?

The red striping was a test done using 3m's Scotchlight. I don't think they liked it so they never repeated it.

What road number is that?  I've never seen that referenced!

 ???

Units 20-23 were all Non-Dyn GP-7's. #22 was the first to be chopped and received Speedscript, #20-21 went right into Circus. The last of the 7's to be chopped was 23 in 1971. SInce I model 68-73 I can "get away" with a high-nose 7 floating the system. They're asthetically pleasing so thats my justification for having one!

You can always make it 22, and get another GEEP. I planned out my roster along time ago. I will probably add/replace a GP-9, F-7 and SD40 Speedscript with an Circus unit to bring the ratio up. 57B is anachronistic so that number will get changed in December when they come in from IM.

Additionally I've got a slew of B&O, Reading, and N&W stuff. Thinking about adding some fictional power too -Midland Road, Allegheny Midland, Laurel Valley *ahem*.

Then I've also filled Southerns "Steam Preservation Program" with alot of new eastern road steam. The 4449 and accompanying cars happen to be on run through for Steam Heritage Days  ;D.

I've got some Laurel Valley decals...  I can send you a lettering diagram!  Currently the roster consists of 2 GP-20's, and I have a third I'm trying to frankenstein together from the parts bin.  There should be a total of four, 1801-1804.  I'm also considering doing some F units up as well, but haven't settled on a number series yet.
