were the NEC pictures taken at the old Beltway station in Lanham?  looks like 495 and the 450 bridges...

i'd bet good money it was here...

Steve - That's where they were taken.  Used to be one of my favorite hangouts before the fences went up and the beltway bridges had the anti-rock ledges added.  Except for Amtrak not much else on freight wise nowdayson this line.

my parents lived in those apartments in the background in the early 60's.  my has that area changed.
