Not built yet...  But designed following the right geography.  Sure, selectively compress we must, but if the river is on the right, the river is on the right!  If my WM train is headed west to Luke, the Potomac has to be on the south side of the tracks!

Well, if you're going to split hairs, the Rt. 11 overpass only goes over the PRR.  This is clearly a case where local model railroad conditions had to trump the prototype.  But alas. It is a scenery element that is altered, not the general orientation of the railroad...



On the other hand, I was forced to totally foobie Maryland Jct.  In reality it exists railroad east of the Cumberland Depot.  I have it at Luke, which was actually well down the Thomas Sub.  However, it's function on the layout replicates it's prototype function, splitting the Connellsville Sub to the right, and the Thomas Sub to the left.

Ah, the art of compromise!
