Power Atlas C55 frogs?

I am planning on a layout based on Atlas C55 with #5 turnouts. Eventually, this layout will run with DCC.
Mainly there will run LL or Atlas Alco RS-x, Atlas C630 and LL SW-whatever.

Is there a need to power the frogs? What are your experiences?

I would suggest wiring the frogs.  But I wouldn't use the tab on the side as they have been known to break.  Get a wire somewhere on the frog casting.  You might want to get a some heat sinks so you don't melt the ties. I've been using these clamps and have had good results so far.

Yeah, but it showed it in relation to a N scale truck.

This better?

LLSWs have a hard time going over unpowered frogs, but Atlas VOs do not.
