That's a purty car, Tom!

Did you shoot that inside or outside?
Cool lighting that you don't see on models...

Take care,

-Phil

Phil, it's inside, using a similar lighting setup described in that article I did a few years back for NSR.  I just positioned the spotlight to get a tad bit of reflection to get somewhat of a hint of a metallic surface.

I agree these are great. I got one of the VTR ones when they came out. Unfortunately most roads are sold out most places I check.

Again, the tooling and the trucks make this car awesome.

I really like them too.  My only complaint (minor) is that the couplers are kind of high.  They don't line up well with my other rolling stock.  These are the only cars I've ever had to shim when swapping in MT couplers.

Crap, now I have to buy a bunch of Atlas Andrews trucks to replace the MT Andrews trucks I bought to replace the LL stock trucks on my CNJ NE cabooses/cabeese.

Creeping elegance... what was called the not-so-subtle hold on software releases, "It'll be just a day or so, and I'll have this sooper dooper rev ready"

Why not just use the Atlas friction bearing caboose trucks on these? Wouldn't those be a better choice for a NE caboose? I know they are for the LV versions.

Nope, the CNJ cabooses were on Andrews, but lighter looking than the MT versions.

Maybe if Tom would turn on the lights or wait longer for the sun to come up I could see them too...   :'(
