PikeStuff Kits

I plan on modeling modern railroading, and Pikestuff seems to have some modern pre-fab type buildings that would work well.  Are their kits good stuff--if done right do they look good?
What other companies offer modern structure kits that are decent kits and not warped like Walthers?

I only built their HO kits many years ago, before I switched to N scale. The kits were simple to build and looked very good when weathered a little.

The Pikestuff items are very good quality, but they're all based on the same few patterns.  So it's all about your painting and scratchbuilding skills to give it a little variety.

Nu-Line makes a couple different warehouse kits that are very exceptional; must-haves for anyone with a modern layout IMHO.  And their kits, like the Pikestuff items, are very modular and open-ended.  Their stuff seems hard to find (I've personally only found their stuff at shows), but Walthers has them in their catalog again this year.

We are real lucky in the west, lots of trackside industries and buildings look exactly like the PikeStuff buildings. Corrugated metal with the vertical strips and some of them are even blue with white trim. Makes it real easy. The chemical company I need to kitbash for the new layout looks like Pikestuff kits:

I've got one that I'm using for a car shop.  I modified it to get the open track at the back end.  It was about 20 years ago when I built it, but I recall it going together very nicely.  It's a good grade of styrene, no warps or bows as I recall, and very faithful to a prototype Butler or Morton building.

The white metal detail castings are also nice.  They're the roof vents and roll-up door housings.

I ordered one of each.  I really enjoyed putting together my first kit, so this may turn out to be my favorite part of model railroading.  I'm pretty sure I won't enjoy laying track.
