I'll be there manning a table with Alkem Scale Models stuff.  Please stop by and say hello. I should have some show specials. Though most of the new stuff is HO, but some new N stuff is on the near horizon.

At the BANTRAK layout. It's in the center hall.

They have the show open on Friday? I may look at that and then free my weekend up for other things like painting  ;D

Only for exhibitors setting up :)
I love that perk!!

I have to deliver an illustration in the morning so I can have some boolah boolah in the cigar box...  Looks like I'll be leaving Cambridge around 7:30... I wonder if Carhart will need a lift?

I'll be there with my daughter.  I'm hoping she can help me with weathering soon. ;)

What is with train shows on Super Bowl Sunday? Don't these people look at calendars when they schedule? I'm not a huge football fan but I'd rather kick back at home and watch the game then travel. Of course, here on the west coast the game starts in the middle of the afternoon. Easterners can have a full day and still see the game. Damn, train show and the Super Bowl in one day. Doesn't get much better I guess.

I'm not formally a Bantrak member, but I'm wondering if anyone would mind if I brought a train to run?

Well, I can't speak officially without knowing the run schedule or checking with others, but unofficially I'd say we can probably accommodate you (especially if you're running DCC).  I'm 95% sure that there won't be a problem running on the OneTrak branch, and I'm willing to share a run slot on the main Ntrak loop, I'm just not sure when I'll be running.  I'm sure you can also probably convince Ed to share.

I'd say bring the train and we'll see what develops.

one trak is code 55....

bring rolling stock with low profiles.... or rely on the staged rolling stock in the industries........ typically club members have stuff staged there....

one interesting highlight this show is that red line should be able to get out and back the one track spur with no interuptions.... so you could have a larger train wandering through occasionally....

that should make things interesting.... after all.. the purpose is for operational prototypical switching ... right?   :)

still no justification out there in one track land for a passenger train....running through anyway......gotta see what to do about that :)

see you saturday....

edit: it is also DCC only.
