Heh, there's no real justification for AMTRAk to run MOST of its trains, but they do it anway...

Oh, and just an FYI we're not in the normal center hall, we're in the "North" one (the one to the right when you walk in), down wind of the tinplaters... I can feel the tumor growing now!

I'm not formally a Bantrak member, but I'm wondering if anyone would mind if I brought a train to run?

You could come over to the MARRS layout, as well. We're not big, but we'll run almost anything. :)

So I'm looking for the Bantrak in the North Hall at 11 Sat. to met up with fellow RailWire?
I'll do my best to show up, see you guys there.

I'll bring a good local to run out to the paper mill.  I've got a scad of pulpwood and wood chip hoppers!

Also the one where all the rugrats and running around and screaming.  Not complaining, at least they get interested in model railroading.

My question, and your subsequent response, are the reasons that my wife is staying at home tomorrow...Zane will be losing out on an extra $7.

What kind of traffic does the One track branch support?
Lee

At the moment the OneTrak branch has the following industries:
ADM Grain Elevator (Tim)
Coal Tipple (Ken G)
Scrap Yard (Ed)
Big Undefined Industrial Building (Ed)
Freight House (John B)
Paper Mill (John B)

I've run a 30-car train onto the branch, but never all the way through since I drop cars along the way.  I'd say a dozen or so cars would be good.

I'm complaining.

I advocate muzzles and leashes for children who you can't control. You can't walk around with a dog that can bite an pee on things, kids are just as bad...

It was great meeting all of you today.

The show was very busy, and I would have never brought the stroller had I known so.  A lot of anit-socials would bump into the stroller and then look at me like it was my fault.  I think something has to be done to make the show more "family friendly".*

They can start by banning the tin platers from running their engines with that damned smoke .. they created a hue of smoke that has to be unhealthy .. and since the Ntrak was right next to it, we had to breathe that crap all day. I left early because of it.

Think I'll bring an oscillating fan tomorrow. Won't stop the smoke but it will spread it around so more of the building can share its aroma.
