Is there any chance you will construct the Double Track Burnside Bridge in a way that it could be purchased individual sections; like only one middle span etc?

The two bridges are actually identical. SOU just used the two inner stringers to create a single track. They were smart in that to double track the bridge, they just had to add the outer stringers.

The bridge will be made of modules. I have not decided how I will divide it yet. I can see two ways: a) pier to pier. b) center span to center span with the support in the middle. Just not sure yet where to place joints.

That's High Bridge... engineshop is talking about the bridge at Burnside, which was built in 1950 as a double track bridge.

Yes I know. The two bridges were constructed from the exact same plans. Each section has the exaxt same measurements, including width. Burnside has all four stringers installed (double track). New River had only the two inner stringers of a double track installed to create a single track with expansion to double track by adding two more stringer in the outer position.

Therefore, they are the same bridge with only different stringer arrangements. So I will be making one bridge with different floorbeams to make either Burnside or New River. As stated, I have not decided where to join the modules.
