MDC Well Cars - Radius

I picked up a gross of those MDC well cars when they were being blown out .. I notice that the wheels rub on the first cross brace when going thru curves . I hope FVM wheels will cure it, but anyone else have any solutions?

I recall seeing someplace the car needs to be cut on the underside for the trucks to clear.  I’ll try to recall where I’ve seen the article and pass it on.
