Gregg (3rdrail), you posted a picture of your old Bachmann consolidation here or on another forum. It looked like it had been painted and lettered for the Reading prototype which it is supposed to represent. Any idea where a person can find decals or dry transfers for Reading?
I have one of these locomotives in the glossy, garish GN scheme that begs for a repaint. The project has been on hold since I have been unable to find a source for decals.

CDS dry transfers:

Reading List:

Sold by TMR Distributing in Canada:

Yes CDS stopped manufacturing, but many transfers are still in stock, especially in N-scale.

Mine was done with NorthEast Decals' Reading steam locomotive set. These have not been available for a long time. The leftover stock was sold on eBay several years ago and I picked up ten sets of PRR CK decals. I've since used about half.

Thanks for the quick responses.
I'll see if I can get the CDS dry transfers.
I have some of the Northeast Decals, just not the Reading ones.
Too bad somebody didn't pick up that line - they had a lot of decals that nobody else is doing.

Great link!

I had no idea those sets were made... Now if someone would make 72' Harriman coaches I would be set! IM has RDG FP7s...and no one makes a model of RDG cars!
