WGH Sacramento 2007 photos

=======
Part 1

Hi, all, just got back from WGH Sacramento 2008.

Big show, not the greatest, but was decently OK.

Mainly due to the sponsoring manufacturers being there.
Some had more to show than others.

First up - a couple of upcoming Atlas N locomotive releases :-) :

More to come.

========================

Athearn's FP45 and F45 N scale projects are continuing to
progress towards production.  Here's some good quality shots
of the test shells.  As a Santa Fe fan, I'm very excited about
these.  :-)

========================

Here are some shots of the *HO* Athearn FP45/F45 models:

Some final wrapup shots:

Decal work is nearing completion. Then some weathering and she'll be finished.

I did a little work on trying to improve the quality and believability of my macro photos in preparation for my upcoming book.

I powered up Spencer yesterday and everything works just as it did before the move.  I am very happy about that.  Temp cardboard valences are hung in front of the fluorescent lighting.  I'll have to play with my camera some more to get the color right.

The toothpicks are keeping the brass tubes installed below grade for the home signals clear of debris.  They are not, I repeat NOT NOT NOT preps for installation of cotton ball trees.   ;D

Tom, looks like the bottom edge of the decal is visible, assuming that is a decal and I'm not seeing things.

Thanks, but if you're not sure, I may leave it alone. ;)

Tom,
You do see it, but the fantastic weathering leads you eye away. I saw it because I was studing the pic intently.
