Greetings!

Been lurking for a while and finally decided to join...I live in Southern Ontario and have been in N Scale for nearly 35 years. And I am amazed at how far our little scale has come during that time. My interests include modelling the Algoma Central Railway in Northern Ontario, but I also have a soft spot in my heart for the Southern Pacific. In development is my 15' X 30' layout based on the ACR. In addition, I have three NTRAK modules.

Welcome Big Train!  Have you met our resident Ontario-ites?  There are several of your geographic brethern lurking about, and if one of them comes up and calls himself Mike while eating Rapido passenger cars for lunch, he's a good guy to know.

We'll eagerly await your Layout Engineering thread on the ACR - especially since it will no doubt feature an SP interchange!

I'm pretty much a lifelong railroad modeler having received my first American Flyer from my grandfather while I was still in the womb. I can't remember a time when I didn't have access to trains. Today, and for the past 40 years or so, I have modeled N-Scale or HO depending on my purpose. For demonstrating model railroading at fairs and such, I use a small HO point to point trolley system that runs itself. My personal railroad at my home is not even started yet. Just moved in a short while ago.

I am eager to discuss all aspects of modeling. I live in the northeast corner of Connecticut with my wife and two Labradors who manage to get hair inside of an engine now and again. I have no idea HOW, but they do.

My name is Mark Voight. I am Part of New Jersey Southern N-Trak. I have been modeling Trains in N-Scale for about 9 years but have truly fell in love with the hobby the past 5 years. I model Norfolk Southern and Southern Pacific. Yes it is an odd combination xD but I love both railroads. I heard about The Railwire through my friends and have found a lot of useful information here. I hope to improve my modeling and have the talent I've seen on this site some day.

Ooh, another AC modeler!

My plans involve modeling this railway in HO.

Hello,
My name is Dave. i'm a newly registered, long time lurking pennsy fan currently in the layout planning stage. I use to have a small hcd size layout that had to be retired. Right now I'm building structure kits and making a list of wants & needs for my next layout.

Hi y'all I'm Reese.

I just joined the site this evening but I've been in N scale since I was 13, going on 21 now. I'm a very big fan of Norfolk Southern and I am currently modeling the NS Chicago Line (more like protolancing) in NE Indiana, where I live. I very much enjoy building, detailing, and painting locomotives. Here are some of my models I have done recently:

I'm looking forward to posting and reading up on everything that is going on here and thanks for having me.

Reese,
Thanks for stopping by! You've got some stuff posted elsewhere that would make good build threads here. Looking forward to more.

Hi, I'm Gary and I know a lot of you from other forums. My username gary60s was first used back when I was in my 60's, but some of you have guessed that I am now in my 70's. Still kicking and am ready to start sharing some scratch building things.
