Well, ok, so I broke down and joined the conversation.  The back and forth on Ed's Baconator did me in!  ;D

Kansas City Southern modeler in N scale.  Currently working on a switching layout featuring things in north East Baton Rouge Parish (now part of WATCO's Baton Rouge Southern Railroad).  I blog on my progress at http://www.model-railroad-hobbyist.com/blog/kcsphil1.

Currently working for the federal government in DC, with an office that looks down onto the CSX main in Silver Spring.

Got here by getting to Ed's conrail site and following the link.  How I got to his site is shrowded in mystery, but probably involves a link from some other N scale miscreant.

Mmmm.  Better schedule another ops session soon!

My neighbor's originally from Louisiana and used to have a crawfish party every summer... Gotta love the sting of those spices and the feel of melted butter running down your arm!

Welcome, Phil!  And what the hell were you waiting for?  No interest in conversing with a bunch of nuts or more interested in just monitoring us?  ;D

Well tooled suspicion of those appearing "normal."  Comes from too many years of working as a bureaucrat. ;)

Alright... Who here is appearing normal?  That's how we got Sizemore... he's FCC, I'm sure he was alerted to us by some little old lady complaining about those pictures of the Bacon Explosion...

A big welcome from another DC area railfan from south of DC in PG.

Weatherman! - wasn't that a radical group from the 60/70's?

Weatherman?  Not so much.  Don't get me wrong, I'd love a job description where you can be TOTALLY, COMPLETELY WRONG 75% of the time and still remains employed.

But I make my living as a fisheries oceanographer.
