Well, tried to post this earlier today but the 'phone company decided to take down the DSL lines for a while...

Found some more Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal photos when it was steam operated:

"Portrait" of No. 11:

"Portrait" of No. 12:

No. 15 under steam on the ready track:

Next week, No. 16 at rest and in action.

Since I'm home today because of a doctor's appiintment I get a chance to post earlier than usual.  Here's some shots from a Chessie (B&O) open house at the diesel facilities in Cumberland, MD during the late 70's.

Photos outside the facility.

Inside the facility.

This is my favority shot of that day.

A few more next week.

Sunday I was in Allentown with the CRHS for a train show, and my buddy and I had the chance to head over to Bethlehem afterwards. Our VP was called for the westbound Roadrailer out of town, so he hooked us up. We shot the PB&NE delivering his train:

And the 261 departing:

Is that an NW 2 on the right, there?  Nifty little critter...  I love that paint scheme.  What are the odds that Kato will find time to do that?

Yep, that's an SW-1.  Realize that I posted 2 of the same photos.  Somehow came out that way when I was setting them up.  Here's the other photo I wanted to show.  Looks like some wreck damage.

Looks like the 8's are upside down on the cab of 8801.
