Excellent post -- it's not like there's a lack of reference material out there.  The MT PS-1 has been one of my peeves for a long time.  How long has this tooling been around?  I have some that are over 20 years old.  Would the N scale market support the options available on the HO Kadee PS-1s?

Believe the Micro-Trains 40 ft. PS-1 was introduced in 1972, which makes it 35 years young...the underframe and trucks have seen some changes, but not the rest. BUT, it still stands up well against the competition.  8)

Agree 100% - it's the best "plain Jane" PS-1 for the N crowd.  I'm still jealous of the Kadee versions -- specifically the door varieties.  Maybe that's an opportunity for aftermarket parts.
