MBK Grand Re-opening

They are open today and tomorrow - 5% off their already low prices until tomorrow.

After this weekend they won't be open Sundays.

I wish they had advertised this on the website - I would have put more thought into making some purchases.

Nice store though, easy to find. and the store will be open the usual hours after this weekend.

Oops, not sure what the hours are tomorrow. :-[

You must have taken that storefront photo from beside my car since the same cars were there when I entered the store.

Man, how sterile!  Somebody get up there tonight and throw some trash around and pee on the wall for some ambiance!!
(It looks like the inside aisle widths are familiarly snug...  just more of them, eh?)

I'm looking forward to my first visit in a couple weeks.

I see the sign with the B&O Pacific that faced the Jones Falls Expressway made it onto the new building.

I actually mentioned to the checkout clerk that the parking lot is too sterile and clean and got quite a laugh from her.  Do wish they would be open Sundays all the time.  Alway something going on Saturdays.  The hobby shop closest to me has just closed and they were always opened on Sundays and this was quite convenient.

The LHS near me is open Sundays, except for the "summer" which they define as Memorial weekend to October 1st. Seems like a good mix between convenience for me and time off when it isn't too busy for the owner.

I got a peek at some "no cameras allowed" areas of the new place, and let me tell you... WOW! I'm really thrilled for the gang @ MBK. I think this will be the beginning of some real growth for them.
