Another New Atlas Freight Car!!! (in HO)

With Atlas apparently abandonning us for HO and O, and MTL abandonning us for Z, what is the problem here???

You might not be able to apply that logic to Trainman items.  This announcement is only causing b!#%$ing and moaning anyway due to the nature of Trainman details.

I'm thinking of: the pressuraide cars, most cabooses, 17k tanks, kaolin tanks, 33k tanks, 23k tanks, autoparts boxcars which were done simultaneously. We got the autoracks before HO...

I think it's unprecedented in recent "Atlas history" for N to be 4-5 releases behind.

They say "limited tooling $$$" - ok - no argument there - but it must mean the profit in N is not enough to justify the tooling.  This is bad news....

I guess Atlas is right on with its production planning - as no one seems to care less that they are not tooling any new freight cars in N-scale...

We're not all drinking the Kool-Aide and jumping off a cliff over it because we know typically how these things go at Atlas. Give it time; I'm sure the N-scale models are going to be announced at some point. I'm content for now as I have enough projects on my workbench, I don't need them announcing something else I need to work on anytime soon...

Atlas is the undisputed N scale king - I'm not worried. I'm sure they've got some rabbits to pull out of the hat in the coming months.

Kato? Freight cars? :

Walthers has yet to make much of a splash.

Intermountain has filled many voids for my needs personally (N&W covered hoppers galore!).

Red Caboose hasn't released something I want in years (although I'm trying to get them to do something that I do want).
