New plan: trees every night.

I've decided to start a new program: every night I need to make a batch of trees. It's amazing what just a few will do.

The area above the locomotive here was bare wall yesterday. It's far from "good" but I think it's definitely progress.

I really like the results from the supertrees...

I have a new technique - taking a couple stems and taping them together with masking tape, very
tightly at the bottom. Then I spraypaint the combined stem with Krylon "Camoflage" Dark Brown (which helps hold this together - then trim a little - then dip in white glue solution - then into different types of ground foam or the Scenic Express foliage materials...

Works VERY well...

Be sure to eat a lot of fish. Remember:"Only Cod can make a model tree." ::)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'd really appreciate if you all were on my butt if I don't show off more trees or indicate progress.

I feel like the hive prodding will help me plow through it.

IS it me or the camera angle but that locomotive sure looks like it is leaning to the left.  Maybe the track has a left tilt to it.

I think you're right.

I think I just had the camera somewhat crooked, but I think I'll go check, just to be sure.

It wouldn't be early Conrail without crooked track!

Did you model a wash rack that you haven't shown off yet, cause that Geep's pretty squeaky clean.
