Gregg's off with the PRRTHS convention, so I'll start us off with the much anticipated Maryland and Delaware shots I took last week in Hurlock, Maryland.  RS3-M 1203 is working the grain elevator run by Perdue there...

Couldn't make it to the PRRTHS this year, maybe next year.  Heres a couple colorful U-boats:

More pommie stuff - a few from the early days.

It's April 1968 at Lostock Hall, one of the last steam sheds left in the UK. I'm 12 years old, steam has only 4 months til the end of steam and I have one shot left on my Kodak Brownie 127. So what do I do? Make sure I get both the diesels in and make one of them the central focus of the Pic?

Two images taken in 1970 at Eastfield shed in Scotland.

For shame, Wes!  They are pretty decent pictures though.  Especially considering it was a 12 year old with a B&W camera, almost 40 years ago.  But no matter what, a story and a picture combined are worth 10 pictures of even the rarest locomotive.

It's a repost, but I just saw this thing again and wanted to post it.

It's my favorite Harrisburg Area Photo. Enola? Capitol? Rockville? Cove? They've all been done.

I finally have a post.  A friend of mine said he is now working for railroad located in Lockport NY.
called the Falls Road. I think its running off an old Lehighvalley line from Lockport to Midina, In side of this building I find not one but two RS 11's. One is an NKP vintage. Not sure which one. ::)

here's one for the road...

SirTrainly,

East Coast Main Line, eh?. I'm on that myself, but fortunately, my days of commuting on First Capital Connect are behind me :). Mind me asking roughly where you are (or where the pics were taken)?

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Those shots are from the New England Bridge, just north of Huntingdon, which is pretty close to where I work, on the old airfield at Alconbury. Glad to say I no longer have to commute either, and don't miss it. :)

Thanks :). I'm a bit further south at St Evenage ;).

Old town or new town ? I lived there for about 6 months (2000-2001) near the site of the old station that was sent to the USA.

New town, North part of the town.

What's this about the old station being sent to the USA then?

Dave.
