Hmmmm PCM Vaporistic fantasteristic

At the risk of cheesing off a whole bunch of people, I notice the worlds leading vapourware manufacturer has firmed up dates for their N scale products. It's a pity they don't alter their website to match their advertisement in  N Scale Railroading. Looks like Feb 2008 for the M1a/b 4-8-2 and April 2008 for the N&W hoppers. Some online websites have the PA's as coming soon but they are slated as Sept this year and the E8/9's as Oct this year. But that's only if the preorders hit the right levels so I could be typing this still in 2015 ya think? I hope the Intermountain SD45-2's come out before PCM's stuff ::) ::) ::)

I'm just rambling cause I have nothing better to prattle on about ;D ;D :o catching some zeds now ;)

They also lowered the MSRP of their DCC/Sound-equipped vaporware by $50.

It wouldn't be true vaporware if you did not have due dates.  The trick is to not deliver then change the due date and think of an excuse, preferrably one that puts the blame on someone else.

I like the $120 6-car hopper sets...

actually these will street smack in the middle of the M-T 100T hopper price range. if they are good, I will certainly buy them.

Many others that have N&W Y-3s will be interested in having something to pull behind them (I stole this theory from Einstein!)

I definitely understand if you need a model in quantity and it's a one road car,
get them while you can - but they do seem steep compared to say the
Kato or Deluxe coal porters or even the MTL 3 bay cars...

I've had a couple sets on order for sometime (no kidding, right).  Understand that they will be body mounted couplers.  Anyone know if this is so?

Yeah, and the air brake system will actually work, and if you send your money now, they'll throw in a few shares of stock in the Brooklyn Bridge... ::)
