Well I guess that limits any discussion of anything prototype. Would you, could you, get a time-out for posting to the Thurday Proto Photo Fun since it is not a Model Railroad discussion??  :-X  One thread locked and another being warned about discussing the merits and pitfalls of prototype railroading (Yes, I know the locked thread did stray too much). But, without the prototypes, there would be no Model Railroad. Ok, it's there party and they can cry if they want to...

I am beginning to appreciate this forum more & more. My hat goes off to the moderators for not being heavy handed and wearing blinders. I truely hope this rant does not cross any lines. If so, delete it and I do understand.

Bob (traincat2), you'll find after a few more posts, you'll be able to participate in the Crew Lounge, where anything is discussed except politics, religion or pornography, and there are times we skirt close to those issues as well.  ;D

This forum, or group of forums if you will, differs in that we are modelers of railroads, not just purchasers of railroad models. From what we've seen of your work, we're "your kind of people" on here.

I read it that Bob meant 'Over There' on the 'Other' forum (the A Board)

Tom, you're scaring me !

"Technically this forum is for model railroad discussion"

It's a bit out of context.

If you are going to reply to this thread, I encourage you to read the whole post.
