PanAm car - how to roll your own?

So I like the car but I don't like the price.  How can I make my own?

1.  What color paint to use for the grey and blue?
2.  Where are the decals again?
3.  What boxcar best matches the prototype?

Polyscale 414372 - Guilford Gray and B&M Blue with a little white added in ..

Be warned that the Highball set I got was missing some of the info. The measurements of the car on the right side were not in the set, so I had to get some from a Microscale set. I did let Highball know about that.

But the colors are about right. I used a pair of M-T cars, primed white and B&M Blue and Gulford Grey all from Pollyscale. I've seen three of the prototypes here in Bakersfield, so the pair I have look good roaming around the layout.

I prefer the Badger Modelflex for these B&M blue 16-60 and D&H grey 16-188 but that's just IMHO
