One does has to realize, sadly, that only a Pete Nolan type can "fall" off a two-foot stepladder and destroy a harbor. Or that only I, at 220 pounds, can "rack" a stepladder rated at 350 pounds. I've sworn off ladders. I've sworn off knives and choppers. I can still split a promising hull in half with a swipe of a chisel, but that's another story . . .

One of my favorites is when you had the OptiVisor on and ran through the doorway and conched your head. Sorry, that had to hurt, but I was rolling on the floor at that one!

Actually, Jerry, that one didn't hurt too bad. I'm 6'-3" barefoot, probably 6'-4" in sneakers. An Optivisor is about 3 inches tall. Door frames are 6'-8 1/2". So it doesn't take much of a skip to clonk my head. My youngest brother is about 6'-8", and he's always ducking.
