Ink jet
and MD (ALPS) have limitations based on the thickness of the resulting decal.  Laser imaging has its own set of challenges since tweaking the image intensity, contrast and colours to get something useable in Nscale is something less than entertaining.  Looking really great, nice to see someone carrying on the tradition of decal making...

Kind of defeats the purpose of safety stripes to have a mural of the countryside . ;D . Do you make decals for CMW's trailers in 50's scheme ? If so how much ?

Have
a link?  Unfamiliar with CMW paint scheme...

Reality of modern trailers means including conspicuity stripes, even though we hate them...

CMW is Classic Metal Works , you know , thats the ones who make N scale vehicles , not a decal design to copy . I would be interested in re lettering some of their trailers with schemes they do not offer . Schemes that were in the 50's . Nothing special in mind , just something that is not on everybody elses layout , or non-layout in my case . Not necessarily full billboard schemes either , but that doesn't mean it can't be . The sides of those trailers have perpendicular ridges which means the decal must be able to take solvaset .

Post
or PM links and I'll get on it while my hands are in the 60% range.  New meds have me feeling more limber than any time in the last couple of years.  If you need graphics for a specific model a few simple measurements of the actual model will geatly assist in properly scaling ..

I tend to use BelDecal paper to make thinner decals but have a Walthers/MicroMark supply for those who are brave enough to use SolvaSet.  I often use two applications of MicroSol on the thin decals to get them close to settled before applying a SolvaSet bath for final seating.  Often my bravery is because I can just reprint if I fark over a decal or two...

The flat decalable side of the trailer is 29.5 feet x 6.75 feet not taking in account for the trim at the forward top edge .

Something like this , but I don't know the colors . I will do more research tomorrow in hanks site .

Something
like this?  I think the font size and such may need some minor work...

Gotta wonder how many of those "Ramus" trucks were hit by another vehicle and when the driver was questioned by the cops, he said, "Well they invited me to hit them, look at the huge "Ram Us" invite on the side of the truck!!"  :o ;D

This one was a source of much amusement when I first saw them, especially if broken down on the side of the road. :P

Most of
what is there should be fairly easy.  The white lettered stuff would be a bit harder since things like the mixed colours of 'silverfleet' stuff needs extra attention...

Will get quote to you by PM soon...
