Centauri, those aren't even valid URL's. When I strip them of the "img" tags and try to bring them up I get a "404-Page not found" message.  :o :o

3rdrail, are you trying to be a copyright thief ?   ;) ;)

(this picture is from Centauris website, with the right URL it should work...)   ;)

Thank you Both, Nscalesteve and 3rdrail,
I`ll try once more only, as I feel like I`m just filling up this Thread
with Rubbish and using "Valuable Band Width" to no good avail.

Regards.

I do my pics on here from my photobucket.com album. It's free, & fairly easy. Sign up, & upload your pics.

THEN-once you have your desired pics in your album/s, you'll notice 3 different "links", below each pic. Img is the one you want. Left click on the link, & then right click "copy."

THEN-come back over here, & click on "paste". You should then have the necessary link for your pic to appear, & just to be sure, click on "preview" at the bottom of your post before submitting. If you did everything right, it should show up in the preview!

No worries though-I've been known to be completely baffled at the simplest things, & I have to thank Jerry at MTW for explaining the process above-I played around, & was successful!

No caboose from the Donkey though-I'd loved to have done one, but I've been busting butt trying to get my 1st RAILBOX done, along with another CR hopper!

Good Luck to Everyone! The end of the month is almost here, & can't wait to see the entries!

They're not "Crown Victorias"-they're known
as "Police Interceptors"

Thank you one and all for your collective support and help, I have finally
set up another Link to my other Home Page and it seems to work on my
Computer, I just hope it`s not working off my "Cashe". I`m about to go
and knock on Photo`bucket`s door for next months contest.

Would some one hit that Link I set up to check it out for me please.?

Regards,

John.

Centauri, that works, I can see your photos now. Interesting cross between a British brake van and a North American caboose (at least the trucks). Did you omit the "bay window" (I don't know what the Brits call these side viewing slits) on the side on purpose?

3rdrail, thanks for checking that Link for me, Those Brake Vans were built
around the turn of the Century and have undergone a multitude of rebuilds
over the years, that one is a Thirty Footer, others were as long as 40-45
foot, there was even a little 16 footer that bounced along behind the Train,
Nearly all survived until the end of steam. They can now be bought quite
cheap and make great Layout Rooms, Tool Sheds, Garden Sheds Etc`.
That little Slit Window was referred to as the Bay Window or Lookout.

On the other hand, The Brits` had a funny little type with that style
or simular Verandah on each end, I`d guess they`d have been very
drafty to travel in.

Thanks for your offer, Email to follow tomorrow!!.
Regards.

Here they are:

What I did was go to your website above. Right click on each photo, click on properties, highlight the URL on the properties page and right click and copy. Then I simply pasted that between the "img" tags for each photo.

So, you don't need to email me the photos. Ed can add them to the contest from this.

OK here goes...... ;D. DRGW EV Caboose 01513......Started with an Atlas undecorated EV caboose....before the roof walkways etc version was available. Remove all the handrails and stack, panel in all the side windows. Add new wire handrails all round. Grab rails to roof and new stack made of brass. Etched stainless steel walk way. brass ladders. Spray pale yellow....it was a stock car spray paint but I can't find the can. Microscale decals, flat varnish, weathering with thinned enamels, some spray paint and chalks. sprayed flat varnish.
This is the original car photo courtesy of Railarc.  www.railarc.org I couldn't bring myself to deface the caboose with graffiti so its  "eau naturel".

I like it, The first part that caught my eye was the Muddy Spray on the
windows, I`d never have thought of that.
