Seaboard Cost Line Class X-1-A:
SCL 12578-12699; build 1972 by SCL at Waycross with parts furnished by PS.

Btw.
The MDC/Roundhouse 50' waffle side cars are sadly only right for Frisco /BN and some L&N cars; the side ribs are spaced to far apart - 5 !/2 rows of waffles per side on most PS cars,
the MDC and SLSF/L&N cars got 4 1/2 rows.

Pretty sure the OP car was a 40' car not 50'.

Your are right, of coarse - these are 40 footers.

I mentioned the 50' cars because other waffle side cars were discussed .

SLSF 13500-13599 had flat roofs and originally had PS sliding doors and are not a match for the MDC model

ITC had some cars that had a peaked roof like the MDC model, but with smaller and different sliding doors

Well, I’m eighteen years late with a response, but Bryan was right: the OP’s link was to a photo of a standard height 50’ former Seaboard System boxcar, and, yes, MDC did offer models.  These are a couple of the HO scale version:

DFF

The HO model in the photo is made by Walthers and is a somewhat crude representation of the SCL X-5 series.

Notwithstanding the shortcomings of the Walthers HO model, SCL X-5 had 9' door openings rather than 10'*, PS-1 ends rather than non-terminating ends*, 6 posts on either side of the door opening rather than 5, etc.

*Note that CSX later retrofitted some cars with larger door openings and non-terminating ends
