@Ed Kapuscinski this is a great set up and I showed it to my wife who is working on similar projects with other types of groups.
Not trying to stir the pot or air dirty laundry, but what happened with the Bridge Line Historical Society?
Have you heard from them lately? From what I've seen, they're basically dead.
Ed, fair point. From what I know a newsletter goes out, but I'm not sure what else they do. I'm glad to hear that a new D&H group stepped in to fill the void, and perusing the website, well organized with motivated people. Are you aware of any archives the old group had? I'd hate to see two competing archives given the digitizing efforts the D&HRHS is doing.
https://www.delawarehudson.org/The most exciting thing about it, for me, is that it follows the ideas put forth in my hobby publishing white paper: http://hobbypublishing.edkapuscinski.com/Membership is all managed via Patreon, and the "magazine" is a set of feature articles on the archive site: https://archives.delawarehudson.org/champlain-shieldThe other primary member benefit is access to the organization's archives. They're always growing, but we're starting with an amazing collection of right of way maps.
