This time it's time for a Dutch car: the Daf 33!
The Daf 33 (1967-1974) is a further development of the Daffodil and looks almost like it. Just like all other passenger cars of the Daf brand, the 33 has the unique 'variomatic' transmission. This gearbox uses rubber drive belts with which the automatic can shift into an infinite number of gears. Because this was the cheapest car with automatic transmission for years, this car was particularly popular among the elderly.
