The bad news is, 1309 will be out of service for this year's Winter Photo Freight. They've been planning to rehab her pistons, but a problem during one of the recent Polar Express tours pushed that up on the priority list. Here she is at her debut in February 2022.
The good news is they're doing the fundraising to get the job done to get her back into service asap.
