Hands on with a Broadway Limited Conrail SW7

I picked up my SW7 yesterday and put together a few thoughts, and some pictures:

https://conrail1285.com/quick-broadway-limited-imports-conrail-sw7-review/

Basically:
It's a good enough starting point.
I'm disappointed that they didn't paint the handrails.
They got the walkway color right!
Paragon 4 sucks almost as much as Paragon 3, but that's not really news.
It's a good starting point for a good model.

I haven't looked at any photos, but isn't the "CONRAIL" in the wrong spot?..

... Edit: Never mind.. I found a photo of 9060 painted like that..

It looks like the level “rails” are too long though.

Swap in a LokSound decoder for a 1,000 percent improvement in operation. The mechanism is excellent, the stock decoder is substandard.

Bryan, which LS decoder did you use, the Nano?

I used the Micro at that time, I don't think the Nano existed yet.  But the Nano certainly would work.

I have an undec NW2 (same mech?) to paint/decal, but first order of business will be to replace the decoder!  Gotta have prototypical lighting, IMO.

Appreciate that @Cajonpassfan !  Mine is from the first run, so I will verify if it is Paragon3 or 4.
