I found this bit of trivia at the U of Akron Archives yesterday and thought some of our East coast members might find it interesting.  AC&Y AFE correspondence about the sale of their wreck crane and idler car to the M&P in 1939.  You can read more about it and view photos of the equipment on the AC&YHS website (AC&YHS.org) by opening the Spring/Summer 2017 AC&YHS Newsletter.  What I didn't find that would be interesting is how the equipment was routed from Akron to Baltimore.  Likely the B&O Akron all the way to Balto but you never know.

At the time of the sale, she was already 40 years old. This became M & PA X1, and saw service up thru the late 1970’s, at which point she was parked on a siding near N Queen St. in York, PA . somewhere I have pictures I took of her in the mid-80s. X1 stayed on that siding until it was moved for scrapping in spring 1997. Although only a 50 ton crane, it looked very similar to the 125 ton ID models, and can be replicated by a bit of kitbashing of the Tichy crane.
