I put a Soundtraxx Econo in my Walthers N scale 2-8-8-2 PRR HH1. She ran great for awhile, months. The suddenly started acting up in way of when I turn on the layout her sound comes right up and the chuffing starts like she's moving slowly. When I get it actually rolling the chuffing goes like she's running 60mph when even at a crawl. I tried to reset several times but still have the same outcome.
Anyone have any ideas what to do next or do we think the decoder doomed ?
