Looks like i should just put a Loksound Nano in it seeing as i will have to do some mods to get a speaker in there any way.

After reading the linked thread showing it is made for the Kato E bodys i think a phone call to ESU is in order
Ill put that on my Monday todo list!

Well, you will likely be told that it will work in E units after you figure out where to carefully remove some plastic under the shell's roof.  I also believe I read that somewhere on this forum.

From the description on the ESU website and Pete's link I would assume, that the decoder will fit into E units as well.

Funny thing is, on the English website ESU is using the term Kato widebody units. On the German version they use Cab-units and widebody...  :D
