Atlas MP15 with LokSound v5 Nano

A friend's MP15AC I did for him. Some material from the front of the chassis needed to be removed as well as thinning the shell above the decoder. 0804 LEDs were used for the headlights. Two 330uf caps were used as keep alives. A Soberton 8x12 speaker in a printed enclosure was placed in the cab. I had rewired the decoder after removing the extra function wires but had to do this again after assembling the shell back together as the wires were to bunched up. I rewired in a way that allowed them to lay flat next to each other.

Nice install!

We tried this on a friend’s MP15 a few weeks ago and it lacked 1mm of the shell seating back down but we hadn’t cut on the chassis or shell.
Great to know that it can be made to fit.
