Baltimore Area NTrak (Bantrak) adds Free-moN as a Standard

A couple of weeks ago, several of us demonstrated four Free-moN modules at a Bantrak monthly meeting. We encouraged club members who had never touched one before to line they up, clamp then, connect the wires and run a train. Novices who had never touched Free-moN modules successfully connected 4 modules in less than 10 minutes and had a train running. It was enough to sway the group into adding Free-moN to the standards we model to.

The Bantrak website has been updated (http://bantrak.net/ClubFreemoN.php) and we will be previewing the four modules at the upcoming Great Scale Model Train Show this weekend in Timonium, MD (gsmts.com). If you are planning to come out to the show, stop by the Bantrak NTRAK setup and check out the Free-moN modules. We wont be running trains on them, but they will be a teaser for our planned Free-moN layout at the October show.

If you can make it stop by and say hi!
