I'm doing a reverse tribute to my brother, who happens to be a high end body man, one that doesn't use Bondo, rebuilds everything with steel. He's worked on some well known show cars, including Jay Leno's Stanley Steamer, Bentley Speed 6, and the Chrysler Turbine. Anyway, his body work is gorgeous but he has nothing to show for his own, despite having several possible vehicles to work on, including a 1953 Studebaker pickup,a 1951 Willly's pickup, a 1957 oval window VW, a 1969 Chevelle convertible, and a couple other vehicles in varius forms of disrepair and disassembly. I had to give him my old VW Jetta with 250K miles just so he had a vehicle that ran.
So I still have the drawings in my head of what he wanted to do to the Studebaker, so I grabbed one from Rasputen a while back. I just don't know whether to send it to him as a gesture of good will or keep it on my layout and send him a picture. An N scale Studebaker PU is bound to get lost in his house...
