The stars aligned earlier this month and we finally headed north for a couple of days to get some of the action on Australia's transcontinental East West route. A One Rail Australia (ORA) containerised copper ore train heads under the Stuart Highway overpass at Coondambo, South Australia on 4 October 2021.
ORA was previously Genesee & Wyoming Australia which was sold off in February 2020. Unbelievably it was announced last Friday that the operation has again been sold, this time again to Queensland based rail freight operator Aurizon.
