Would the MT Tru-Scale couplers work on these cars?

I'm not waiting on TBOXs, but going through the same "awaiting fulfillment".  "Shipped" last night (which is to say, shipping label was printed)- order Nov 9, "shipped" Nov 18 (apparently by UPS- tracking shows "shipping label created, waiting for pick up" as of Nov 19 10:40 am).  So apparently the current virus situation has them backed up about 10 days.

See.... Re: MBK strange ordering

Or here... https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/holiday-shipping/   at this moment "Now shipping orders placed on November 11th"  I placed an order on the 13th. Still waiting.

The inventory quantities are online, your order probably counted against the total. That's why it's zero even though it hasn't shipped yet.

I have noticed that as soon as I place an order at MTS that if I go back and check the inventory for an item, the inventory for that item has been reduced by the number of items I have ordered.  I use that as a check to make sure I was successful in placing my order.   ;)

Correct. The moment that you place your order, the inventory is reduced by your order quantity.

LOL..... yeah, that is my "problem" too.  Due to mail delays and Covid, we are temporarily (I hope temporarily) having to wait 10-15 days to get our orders.  Before all this Covid stuff and post office controversy, I could place an order on Monday night and run the train on Saturday (or sometime between Thursday afternoon and the following Monday), the intervening 1000 miles notwithstanding.  One year, when they had a slow down at Christmas, they sent me a coupon and an apology for my "inconvenience" because it took them a couple days longer than usual to get shipments out.  I did not complain, it just came in the box with my order.

But those of us of a certain age remember "real" mail order (edit: before I discovered MBK, aka MTS, although they were in business in those days).....when you would cut out the little order blank from the corner of an ad in that month's copy of MR. Strain to write small enough to fit the item number and description onto a line that would not fit a phone number, and a separate piece of paper with acceptable road name or product substitutions, send it off with a money order (so as to not have an additional 2 week delay for your check to clear) and then 3-6 weeks later get 1/2 the order with a note that the other 1/2 was out of stock (although still listed in the next month's MR ad).  Some months later, you got either the other half of the order, or a refund for that part.
