ISO - 67' Trinity 6351 4-Bay Covered Hoppers for modeling Badger State Ethanol  in Monroe, WI - Anyone make/3D these covered hoppers in N Scale?    If not, seems like a great covered hopper to make with the move to larger capacity cars.   Thanks in advance.     May end up using some Atlas or Walthers cars as stand-ins.
Thank you,
Mike DeBerg

Walthers made it in HO, but that means it will likely never come out in N scale unless some other company decides to offer it.

Atlas did make a pressureaide centerflow, but it does not look like the Trinity cars, though they might overlap in type of commondities hauled? Not sure about that at all.

Peter, thanks for the reply.  Was kind of hoping someone has these designed already for 3D printing.  Best case a manufacturer already announced them and I just missed it.  :D

Atlas made a 5800 cuft grain hopper.. I think that would be the closest match in N scale.. but it seems like a model some MFG would do to keep up with modern times.

Ian, that would be great to have a Scaletrains.com, exactrail, WoT, or even Atlas Master do this car.
Thank you,

The badger logo and BSEX reporting marks would be awesome.

Some of the earlier cars used by BSE were ex ATSF cars with simple restenciling and could easily be made from the ex-Walthers, or exactrail 4427's rather easily

I have plans on doing some of these, working on getting the decals made

I actually have two N scale cars that were offered up on an auction site with the Badger logo. I'm at work today, so I will try and get a picture and make of car. I know it's an Atlas.

Atlas ACF 5701 is what they are. Wrong tops, too small in cubic footage, but decent enough stand-ins.

Cool, wrong outlet gates too. but like you said good stand-ins!  Fix the hatches and gates and would be really good stand-ins!
Thank you,

Nope very different. The pressure-unloading cars with the piping are used for fine powdered commodities, and that car is smaller cubic footage.

The big cars we're talking about are high capacity, and all standard gravity discharge.
